Living in an intimate relationship with God will deepen as we grow in these Biblical Practices: These practices are not rules but Christ-like expectations and examples for us to imitate and live by and for God’s glory (1 John 2:6)

 

-Pray every day (Luke 18:1).

 

-Read and study Scripture every day (Colossians 3:16). 

 

-Attend all Worship Services of the body (Hebrews 10:24-25).

 

-Connect followers of Christ in a small group ministry regularly (1 Corinthians 16:19). 

 

-Tell others about God’s love for them and about our love for Him (Mark 12:29-31).

 

-Invite others to worship God and enjoy an intimate relationship with Him (Jude 20-23).

 

-Commit our lives to God in loving worship every day and everywhere (Romans 12:1-2).

 

-Exercise our talents to serve God and each other (Romans 12:3-8). 

 

-Love one another the way that Jesus Christ has loved us (John 13:1-35; Romans 12:9-13).

 

-Offer tithes and offerings to God (Luke 21:1-4).

 

-Visit and serve the weak and poor in society (Matthew 25: 31-46; James 1:27).

 

-Encourage each other daily (Hebrews 3:12-14).
